City of Light Dishcloth Free Knitting Pattern

The City of Light Dishcloth is a beautiful lace design that is simple to knit. This design is also one where I think the back is as pretty as the front! Dishcloth for the Summer dining table, or knit a set of coasters in smaller sizes in cotton yarn. Knits and purls combine to make a checkerboard pattern in groups, which makes the pattern easy to memorize. The colors you can use are endless, and the yarn is inexpensive cotton – or just use scrap yarn. This one is knitted with Estelle Sudz Cotton in this pretty blush colour. Although this design is a simple one, you’ll want to be mindful of the YO after a purl stitch so you don’t end up with too few or too many stitches!
