Give this stripy hen doorstop by Susie Johns a try for the coming Easter, together with the little chicken Amigurumi for the Easter decor and Easter basket. I have a lot of Amigurummi toys with free patterns before, and I would love to crochet some of these lovelies for them to cuddle up and decorate their room. Poultry is a very popular trend this season and our little chicken makes a great doorstop. Martha is weighted down with plastic pellets, but you could opt for cherry stones, dried beans or even gravel. Remember to double bag your filling and pad it with stuffing before sewing up. Alternatively, just use toy stuffing to make a cuddly playmate for the kids.
