The Collett Tee is a slim T-shirt with pretty details at the shoulders and with a tight-fitting, high neckline. The shirt is worked top down. First, you increase stitches at the body, so that the pretty details at the shoulders are visible, than simultaneously at the body and the sleeves. Sweater Tees have always been popular and are in current modern winter fashion too! Yet get a neat and properly fit sweater is not easy. The entire t-shirt is worked seamlessly from the top down. It begins by working the upper body back and forth in rows, then back and front are joined to work the lower body in the round. Stitches are picked up around the neck to work the ribbed neckband. The sleeves are worked by picking up around the armhole edge, then filling in the set in sleeve ‘cap’ with short rows. The sleeves are then joined to begin working in the round, where a short cuff is worked in the contrast colour.
