This knitted heart ornament is a simple, beginner-friendly project that uses garter stitch to create a cute and cozy decoration. Perfect for both Christmas and Valentine’s Day, this little heart can be made with scrap yarn, making it an ideal way to use up leftover bits of yarn from other projects. This little ornament uses about 15 m or yards of worsted weight yarn. Any other yarn weight may be used, but may affect resulting size. It is knit from the bottom point up. Once the center diamond is complete, a semi circle is worked on each side of the top to complete the shape.
