These beautiful itty bitty knitted bear cubs hats are cute beyond words. These little preemie sized bear cub hats came about when my daughter requested something for her twin sons to wear during their stay in the NICU. If the little ones are in need of new hats, you might consider whipping up a few of adorable baby beanies. The pattern can easily be made larger, for newborn or older babies, by sizing up on yarn and needles. They will make for a great charity knitting project – just make sure that you knit them in a machine washable yarn.
