However, 4ply mittens tend to be quite thin and not warm enough for colder days. So, in order to make these mittens warm enough, I’ve included a folded cuff as well as a knitted mitten lining. The pattern includes instructions for thumbless baby mittens as well as for mittens with thumbs for toddlers and children.
