This Knit Entrelac Scarf is an absolute fabulous piece with vibrant colors and textures if you are looking for knitting accessory projects for the cold nights. The colours are stunning and the blocks of entrelac just show them off so well. The entrelacs are 8 stitches wide, but you can just as easily make them 6 or 7 for a narrower scarf. Alternately, instead of 3 entrelacs you could do 2 wider ones. Something the designer did for this design which is atypical of entrelac, is to add two stitches of garter stitch on each end. This makes a nice edge for the increases and decreases, and finishes it of nicely. You can also make your entrelac wider as the bottom version, too.
