Urban Living shawl is a fabulous way to a lace shawl wrap for any weather, worked on the bias starting at the tip with a few cast-on stitches and shaped with increases along one side of the fabric. At the opposite side the shawl is shaped with evenly spaced stepped bind-offs. For the two color section to really pop, it is preferable to choose a light color yarn as the main color. The colors can be reversed except for the mesh pattern section if you want the same effect. That means, the eyelet rows will look best if worked in a light color regardless the shade of the main color, a light or a dark.
