These mittens are inspired by the beautiful poppies that lights up the landscape during summer. There are still a while before the poppies bloom, but we can rejoice over them on a pair of mittens. The mittens have rows of buds, flowers, and the fun capsules. Right at the tip, we made an extra little bud. The pattern on the back using the same colours in a dense grid pattern, it looks almost like an old tapestry. Although the pattern has many colours, it is generally only two colours in the rounds. The poppies on the cuff and thumb, there are three colours in the round, but we’ve knit with two colours, and embroidered brown stitches afterwards. The matching socks are with same techniques for womens size M.
