This is a simple pattern for a soft, stretchy winter beanie/tuque. Two full sets of instructions are given, for 2 different yarns. Knit hats are warm, stretchy, and easy to make. A knitted hat makes an excellent first project because of its forgiving nature and simple design. I have shared some knit hat patterns before, they are cozy and special especially handmade by yourself, meaningful for bay gift delivery. These hats were designed for women, but gauge is given which should allow you to modify the size. The pattern contains a link to a video on my Youtube channel that demonstrates the two types of cables you need to work, as well as my favourite cast-on method. These are suitable for beginners, and can be worked up in a few hours – the perfect handmade gift.
