When putting the skeins on the shelf I couldn’t resist putting these two colors next to each other, they complement one another so well. Now here they are, united at last in this gorgeous cowl. If these colors don’t strike your fancy, look for a solid or semi-solid when choosing your main color. Cowl is a great way to fend off the first chill of winter because it’s smaller and quicker to knit than your average scarf, giving you something to wear while you work on bigger projects. Ths cowl can be worn as a long loop or doubled once around the neck for extra warmth. It comes in two sizes, a small one 22 inches around that fits close around your neck, and a larger one 42 inches around that can be wrapped twice. Both cowls are 9 inches high, but can be made taller if you choose.
