This chicken and egg pattern came to life from the experiment and my current obsession with chickens, perfect for displaying with your hard-boiled Easter eggs, or really any time you want to keep your poached eggs warm for the coming Easter or any season in a year. I have a lot of Amigurummi toys with free patterns before, though we are in quarantine at this hard time, we still need to cheer up! Chickens in the photos were knitted from a variety of yarn weights, from double-stranded fingering to bulky stranded with fingering and/or worsted weights. Stranding different weights together produces a much different effect than the same weights held together.
