The scarf with sleeves is a combination of a scarf and a sweater and is designed to be worn wrapped around the shoulders. Shawl Knitting is one of the exquisite and elegant accessory projects for the cold nights! The piece begins with working the other sleeve on DPNs, in the round. Then stitches will be added to the work and the scarf part is worked flat (back and forth) with circular needle, lace knit and an i-cord edge. Lastly stitches will be decreased from the work and the other sleeve will be worked on DPNs the same way as in the beginning. The length and width of the piece can be adjusted by working less or more lace patterns, depending on the desired size for the piece.
